deeper human beings.”
It has been a challenging period in my life. One thing after another can wear a person down for sure. Although, my intention is to see a positive message in everything that may show up which may appear to be negative. I do handle “all the bouncing balls” for the most part. And, I can pretty much always see the gift or lesson that ultimately reveals itself.
However, sometimes I stumble and wonder how will I be able to take care of Zen and myself. But life has a way of throwing you a curveball. Mine arrived this morning and it was pretty awesome.
I prepared Zen’s breakfast first. I then pulled an egg out of the frig for my breakfast and laid it on the counter. I was busy attending to something when I heard the egg rolling, rolling right off the counter and landing on the floor. I attempted to catch it in midair to no avail as it smashed on the floor. I quickly picked up the egg, as white liquid seeped through my fingers. I used paper towels with one hand to wipe up the white liquid mess, as I held the leaking egg over the frying pan with my other hand. Hey, talk about those "bouncing balls"! LOL
“Well so much for over easy, guess it will have to be a scrambled egg this morning” I quipped.
As I opened the leaky cracked egg to fry the remaining egg fell into the frying pan. To my jaw-dropping amazement, the yolk is intact! I quetioned, “But how can an egg fall off a counter, smash onto the floor and the yolk still be intact?”
About that time my wonderful inner voice/guidance whispered in my ear: “Because everything is going to be okay... as it is here.”
I smiled, cooked my egg and then relaxed with a hot cup of coffee, now reassured at how messages of trust can come in all forms. Yep, even in a smashed egg!
So pick yourself up, start all over again, and have faith. All is well.
