“Who knows what the tide may bring in?”
(from Castaway movie)
Zen and I are enjoying our last morning in our home. We are together on the couch… Zen fast asleep, and I am sipping coffee. We are moving out today.
I have learned these past few months that you cannot live and hang on to the past without consequences. You rob yourself of the present moment. It is not about what you have accomplished in the past or what you should have done or regrets.
I have also learned that you cannot live in the future with worries or concerns or “what if?” it is counter-productive. And, definitely a waste of time and energy.
This present moment is perfect and I appreciate this home that we have enjoyed and lived in for seven years. Zen all his life.
We are in this moment starting on a new adventure. “who knows what the tide may bring in?” (from Castaway movie).
